Ms. Raquel Pitts

Funeral service for Ms. Raquel Pitts, 34, of Auburn, AL will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church with interment in Westview Cemetery. Rev. W. L. Muse will officiate. Masks are required. Ms. Pitts passed away Friday, May 20, 2022 in Auburn. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. In 2006, she graduated from Auburn High School and was employed at Walmart. Ms. Pitts was the daughter of the late Cassandra Stephens Pitts and the granddaughter of the late Dorothy Stephens. Public viewing will be held Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm. Her remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. She is survived by: three children, Raquavious Pitts, Jayden Stinson and JaMari Stinson all of Auburn, AL; her father, Robert Pitts of Auburn, AL; three sisters, Rosalyn Pitts of Auburn, AL, Renee (Floyd) Marshall of Opelika, AL and Katina Ames of Philadelphia, PA; three aunts, Geraldine Pitts (Walter) Frazier, Betty Pitts and Angela Pitts (Bill) all of Auburn, AL; six uncles, Michael (Dorothy) Pitts of Loachapoka, AL, Jimmie (Earnestine) Gibson of Dayton, OH, Russell Byrd (Gloria Reese) and Terry Byrd both of Auburn, AL, Eric Stephens of Rutland, VT and Gerald (Richetta) Stephens of Auburn, AL; several great aunts and uncles; special friend, Terry Toler of Dadeville, AL; god-mother, Ruth Woods of Auburn, AL; a host of cousins and friends.
