Funeral service for Mr. Marshall James , 85, of Salem will be held at 11:00 am (CST) Monday, January 6, 2014 at Emmanuel Temple of Deliverence with interment in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Bishop Quinton Smith will officiate. Mr. James passed Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors: his wife, Dorothy James, Salem; sons, David Lee Floyd, Salem; Daniel Barnett of Opelika; Daughter-in-law, Brenda James of Salem; Ten grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
