Mr. JT Frazier

September 2, 1949 - October 20, 2021

Graveside service for Mr. JT Frazier, 72, of Opelika, AL will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. L.W. Booker will officiate. Mr. Frazier passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church. In 1967, he graduated from J.W. Darden High School and later attended Alexander City Junior College. Mr. Frazier served in the US Army, receiving an honorable discharge. For thirty-four years, he was employed as an auto salesman for Tatum Chevrolet, Kilpatrick Chevrolet and retiring from Glynn Smith. Public viewing will be held Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm. He is survived by: his wife of fifty-two years, Patricia Billups Frazier of Opelika, AL; one son, Keith Ali (Brandy) Frazier of Griffin, GA; nine grandchildren, Braxton Frazier, Monica Frazier, Kylah Frazier, Alexani Byrd, Ahyana Byrd, Briana Richardson, Caprecia Richardson, Bryan Richardson, Jr. and Katarus Tyner; one sister, Katie Jones of Columbus, GA; one brother, Charlie Frazier of Opelika, AL; nephews, Tim France, and Marcus Billups; niece, Keisha Harris; one sister-in-law, Everlena Billups of Alexander City, AL; two brothers-in-law, Ted (Ruth) Billups of Rome, GA and John R. Billups of Alexander City, AL; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
