Mr. Fred Douglas Jones

Funeral service for Mr. Fred Douglas Jones, 75, of Opelika, AL will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 7, 2019 at Peterson and Williams Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery. Bishop Kenneth Carter will officiate. Mr. Jones passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home. He retired from Quantegy, Inc.. Prior to his death, he was employed by Twin City Security as a Security Guard. He is survived by: three daughters, Kimberly Jones, Tess Jones and Teresita (Michael) McCoy all of St. Louis, MO; three grandchildren, Neko Jones, Sanaa Jones and Mario McCoy all of St. Louis, MO; four great grandchildren, Raymond Douglas III, Kaylee McCoy, Rhian McCoy and Mauri McCoy all of St. Louis, MO; four sisters, Bernice Gartrell, Bertha Bain, Annie Benford and Margaret Jones all of Opelika, AL; one brother, John L. Jones of Opelika, AL; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
